Halloween Candy Donuts

Donuts and candy are both essential parts of Halloween, combining them will bring this spooky day to the next level. This is no trick but it is a real treat!

How to stuff and fry the Donuts

Rhodes White Dinner Rolls, dough thawed but still cold.
Canola Oil, for frying

Take one cold dough ball and press into a 4 inch circle. Place candy in the center of the pressed dough. Wrap the outer edges of dough around the candy and press firmly to enclose.

Pour 2-3 inches of oil in a deep frying pan. Heat oil to medium high heat. Fry each candy donut in hot oil on each side for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown. Remove Donuts from oil and place on a paper towel lined plate.

Toppings
Peanut Butter, melted
Chocolate sauce
Orange or Chocolate Sprinkles

Once the donuts are cooled, drizzle with peanut butter and chocolate sauce.

Rolo’s® (3 per donut)

Toppings

Chocolate sauce
Caramel sauce
Orange or Chocolate Sprinkles

Once donuts are cooled, drizzle both caramel sauce and chocolate sauce over the donuts.
