Almond Cream Cheese Bars

Almond cream cheese squares are easy to make and even better to eat. Enjoy!
Ingredients
10 Rhodes Dinner Rolls, thawed to room temperature
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar, divided
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
4 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 cup sliced almonds
Instructions
Spray counter lightly with non-stick cooking spray. Combine 5 rolls together and roll into a 9×13-inch rectangle. Place dough in a the bottom sprayed 9 x13-inch baking pan.
In a small bowl, beat combine cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar and almond extract with and electric mixer, until smooth. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over dough in baking pan.
Combine remaining 5 rolls and roll into a second 9×13-inch rectangle. Place dough over the top of the cream cheese mixture.
Pour melted butter over the top of the top layer of dough and spread evenly. Combine remaining 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Sprinkle over the butter then top with almonds.
Bake at 350ºF 25-30 minutes. Let cool in pan and then cut into bars to serve.
