Tea Sandwiches

Slice a baked loaf of Rhodes White Bread or Wheat Bread in 3/8 inch slices. Make sandwiches in desired combinations. Slice off bread crusts.

Tomato-Cheddar Spread mayonnaise on bread. Layer with sliced tomato and cheddar. Then top with a slice of bread. Trim the crusts and cut into pieces.

Cucumber and Tomato Spread butter on bread. Trim the crusts and cut into circles. Layer with a cucumber slice, watercress, and halved cherry tomato.

Salmon and Cream Cheese Spread softened cream cheese on bread. Layer with smoked salmon and sliced cucumber. Then top with another slice of bread. Trim the crusts and cut into pieces. Garnish with a sprig of fresh dill.

Peanut Butter-Banana Spread creamy peanut butter on white bread and layer sliced bananas. Then top with another slice of bread. Trim the crusts and cut into pieces.

Pimiento Cheese Mix 2 ounces softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup each shredded cheddar and jack cheese, 1/4 cup mayonnaise, and salt and pepper to taste; stir in 1/4 cup chopped pimientos. Spread cheese on bread. Then top with another slice of bread. Trim the crusts and cut into pieces.
