Buttery Kaiser Rolls

The delicious taste of butter adds just the right flavor to these rolls.

Ingredients

12 Rhodes Yeast Dinner Rolls, thawed but still cold
butter, melted

Instructions

Roll each roll into a 12-inch rope. Brush each rope with butter and tie into
an overhand knot. Bring one end of the rope over the top and tuck down into the middle. Bring the other end the opposite way and through the middle.

Place on a sprayed baking sheet. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise until double in size.

Remove wrap and bake at 350 degrees F 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan and place on a cooling rack.

    Is it possible to make cardamom rolls from a Rhodes product?

      It’s difficult to incorporate ingredients into our dough because it is ready to rise and doesn’t require any more kneading. You can certainly roll the thawed rolls in different ingredients and let them raise. We don’t have a specific recipe for a cardamom roll but you certainly experiment with different ways to enhance their flavor. Happy Baking!
