1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried parsley

Do they need to rise again after shaping into roll before baking

You just need to let the dough thaw before working with it. It doesn’t need to rise before shaping. After the rolls are shaped then let them double in size before baking.

shouldn’t the part about rising after shaping be included in the recipe?

        Thank you!

You really don’t need to let them rise. So that is why it isn’t in the recipe. Once you roll them, to put in the muffin pan, you can bake them from there. The warm oven will raise them enough.

Could you do this without the filling ..just for the shape itself?

Is there a trick to rolling out the dough?

Sometimes when you roll the dough out, it may “snap” back at you and not hold its shape. If that happens, the gluten needs to relax. Roll it out the best you can and then covered with sprayed plastic wrap and let it relax for 5-10 minutes. You may have to do this several times until it holds its shape. Hope that helps you!

Can you use Rhodes loaf dough instead of the rolls

Certainly! They are both the same recipe. One loaf of bread is equivalent to 12 Dinner size rolls or 8 larger size rolls.
