Dutch Oven Bacon Broccoli Chicken

A Dutch Oven dinner packed with broccoli, chicken and bacon and topped with cheese.

Ingredients

4 Rhodes Warm And Serve Rolls, Artisan or Sourdough, thawed and cut into bite size pieces
1 10 ounce can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1.5 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3 cups cooked shredded chicken
2 cups chopped frozen broccoli, thawed
1/2 cup cooked crumbled bacon (2 oz package fully cooked)

  1. In a large bowl, combine soup, sour cream, 3/4 cups cheese, salt, and pepper; mix well. Stir in chicken, broccoli, and bacon. Add Rolls and toss until evenly coated.
  2. Coat Dutch Oven with a thin layer of oil to prevent food from sticking. Or Use a Dutch Oven pan liner or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  3. Spoon mixture into Dutch Oven. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  4. Bake at 400ºF for 30 to 35 minutes.
For a 10″ Dutch Oven you will need 25 hot charcoal briquettes. Place 17 coals on top of the Dutch Oven lid and 8 coals underneath the Dutch Oven.
For a 12″ Dutch Oven you will need 29 hot charcoal briquettes. Place 19 coals on top of the Dutch Oven lid and 10 coals underneath the Dutch Oven.

    Can this be cooked in a crockpot or a Stove top??? IF so, For How long?

      Yes, it can be baked in the oven, and I believe the baking time has been added to the recipe.
