I must be doing something wrong, I take the frozen rolls (4) per pizza, set them in the metal pan (12 inches) along with 2 tablespoons of oil with garlic and onion powder, roll them so they are covered and let them rise, three hours, then kneed them down to fit the metal pan making them into a (deep dish) pizza, add home made tomato paste, raw onion, green pepper, cooked sausage, spinach and mozzarella cheese and parmigiana cheese., bake in a 425 degree over for 8 to 12 minutes.
i do not bake the crust first and it comes out great!

You can make a pizza crust either way. You can pre-bake the crust and then just add your toppings and warm through or you can just bake it all at once. There really is no reason to let the dough rise first either. You can just thaw it and then roll it out. If it should “snap” back and not hold it’s shape. Let the dough rest by covering it with sprayed plastic wrap for about 5-10 minutes. You might have to do it a few times until the gluten relaxes. Enjoy!

I’m sure you could use the dried basil leaves or just omit them.

Texas Rolls are 1 1/2 times the size of a Dinner Roll. So, if you are using a recipe that calls for 12 Dinner Rolls, you would only need 8 Texas size rolls. A loaf of our Bread Dough is equal to 12 Dinner size rolls or 8 Texas size rolls.
