Looks delicious but it doesn’t give you size of pan to use

i had received a recipe in 1997 for monkey bread using rhodes frozen rolls. you place the nuts on the bottom of the bundt pan, then rolls, then pour melted butter that had sugar, cinnamon and other ingredients on top. you do this the night before and put the pan in an unheated oven over night turning the oven on to bake in the morning. I have since misplaced my copy of the recipe and have been looking all over for it.
Do you still have that in your files somewhere?

Hi. The recipe seems like it might be our Butterscotch Bubble Loaf Recipe. https://rhodesbakenserv.com/butterscotch-bubble-loaf/
Instead of letting it rise on the counter, let it rise overnight in the refrigerator until doubled in size. It would most likely over rise if it was left in an unheated oven. Thanks for using Rhodes.

I have the recipe, 18 rhodes rolls. 3/4 cup of bUtter 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 pkg of cook and serve butterscotch pudding. Let rise overnight and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
Let cool for 5 minutes and invert onto dish.

Sounds like a great recipe! I do have one caution. We don’t recommend leaving the rolls out overnight. They may rise and then fall which would not be ideal for this recipe. We would suggest refrigerating overnight and then let them rise in the morning. Should only take around an hour. Hope this helps you! Thanks for the recipe!

You use the icing if you like on the Monkey Bread or you could save to use in another recipe. Just however you would like to use it!

Yes, we still produce the Sweet Bread Dough but in limited quantities. Stores usually order it in seasonally. I don’t know where you live but you can try our product locator on this website and find if any stores in your area have brought that in for the holidays. Or you can call our Customer Satisfaction department and ask one of our baking experts to see if they might help you. 1-800-876-7333
If you can’t find it in your area, you can use the White Bread Dough. Usually the toppings and fillings are sweet enough that others don’t even notice.

How long does it take to thaw the rolls?

That depends on the warmth of your kitchen. The warmer the better. I would say somewhere between an hour or a little longer than that.

Some recipes call for Vanilla Pudding, what does this do?

The pudding gives it flavor. There was a time when the butterscotch pudding was difficult to find so we tried using the vanilla pudding and it was fine. But the butterscotch pudding is much better and gives it that carmel/butterscotch flavor.
