please help. first time rhodes pizza dough user. what’s the story with the hard shell on the dough? How do you remove it? Do you peel it like an egg? do you ground it in as you knead or roll the dough? thank you.

There should not be a “hard shell” on the Dough. Be sure you are checking the package for the “best by” date and using it well before that time. Also check the package for ice crystals. The dough should be free of ice crystals. Also, while thawing, cover your dough with plastic wrap that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. That will prevent a hard shell from forming.
There is no need to knead the dough. It has been kneaded in our machines and just needs to be thawed and risen and baked.
