Difficulty: Beginning
This is a fun breakfast recipe the kids will be begging you to make over and over.
Ingredients
6 Rhodes AnyTime!® or Rise and Bake Cinnamon Rolls, thawed but still cold
Maple Cream Cheese Syrup:
1 cream cheese frosting packet, included with rolls
1 teaspoon maple flavoring
1/4 cup maple syrup
Instructions
Place thawed cinnamon rolls between a folded piece of wax paper or tin foil and press into a 4-5 inch oval.
Place pressed roll onto waffle iron heated to medium low heat. Hold top of waffle iron down slightly so it does not rise up when roll plumps. Cook for about 1-2 minutes or until golden brown (waffle irons vary).
Remove and serve with Maple Cream Cheese Syrup.
Maple Cream Cheese Syrup:
Stir together frosting, flavoring and syrup until well combined.

Debbie from Rhodes
Yes, the are fun to make with the kids and are yummy for either a snack or for breakfast!
Amy
They taste GOOD, but did not cook well in our waffle iron. They were very CHEWY, almOst hard.
Debbie from Rhodes
Thanks for your comment! I probably would decrease the time you cook them in the waffle iron, or if you can adjust the temperature. This might help.
Amy
will this work to make in the morning with the kind you let rise overnight? (My caps lock seems to be stuck, promise im not yelling this question!)
Debbie from Rhodes
Yes, you could let them thaw in the refrigerator and then you will be able to work with them. The capitals is a problem on our end and I will let IT know. Thanks!
