Are you using this recipe that calls for the Cinnamon rolls or are you using a loaf of Rhodes Bread? If you are using this recipe, it tells you to let it thaw and then twist the rolls together. This will help to combine the dough and remove the air pockets, making it a more uniform dough.
If you are however, using our Bread Dough it is more difficult to incorporate ingredients into the dough. Many times if you are getting a hole in the dough, you may be letting it raise too high. If you are using the recommended size loaf pan (8 1/2″ x 4 1/2″) you can let it rise about 1/2″ above the pan. Letting it rise too far above may leave the dough with air pockets.

If you read the recipe, you will see that the Bread is made with the Rhodes Cinnamon Rolls. We do not make a loaf of Cinnamon Bread, this is a recipe to help you make an easy loaf from that product.

You just need to let the loaf thaw and then roll it out and add your fillings and roll it up. Then let it rise. It doesn’t need to rise twice. When you roll it out though, it may snap back at you. In order for it to hold it’s shape, roll it out as best you can, then cover it with plastic wrap and let it rest for about 5-10 minutest. Then roll it out again. You may have to do this several times until it holds it’s shape. This lets the gluten relax.
