Works well, and tastes great filled with homemade beef & Barley soup. However, sourdough bread bowls would be even better, so figure out how to make frozen sourdough, Rhodes… lol

sorry about the caps but this site will only let me use caps. I have took one loaf of the frozen bread and cut it in half. I then rolled the halves into balls and by the time they rise, they are almost flat. Any suggestions as to how to make them bowl shaped? Thank you

Thanks for your question! It sounds like you may have let them over rise and then they fell. You just want the dough to double in size and then bake. But if they were flat they raise too much and fill with air and then they fall.

Would have been nice to say how long the rolls will take to rise to double in size……it takes 3-5 hours!

Yes, it does take 3-5 hours. Just as our package says. It is not an exact time because it depends on the warmth of your kitchen and the freshness of the yeast. We have many sources to find out this information. Our website is very informative about many answers to your questions. You can also call our Customer Satisfaction and talk with one of baking experts at 1-800-876-7333. Not many companies have someone to immediately talk with. I plan on trying to make bread bowls. I’m assuming the loaf needs to partly thaw before cutting in THIRDS.
