Servings: 12
Difficulty: Beginner

This Cinnamon Apple Bundt will make you the apple of everyone’s eye!

Ingredients

12 Rhodes Cinnamon Rolls, dough thawed slightly
3 cups apple pie filling
1 diced fresh apple (optional)
½ cup butter, softened
½ cup flour
½ cup oats
½ cup brown sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

Combine butter, flour, brown sugar, oats, pecans and cinnamon to make a crumble.
Cut each cinnamon roll in 6 to 8 pieces.
Sprinkle a little crumble on bottom of a sprayed bundt pan. Layer rolls, pie filling, fresh apples and crumble; repeat.
Let rise to slightly below the top of the pan. Do not overrise to avoid spills in oven.
Bake at 350ºF for 40-45 minutes until done. Cover with foil approximately halfway to prevent over-browning.
Let cool slightly then loosen from the sides of the pan with a knife and invert onto serving plate.
Glaze with the cream cheese frosting provided with the rolls.

About how long (in minutes or hours) should the rollS rise? Im not clear on how long until they’d over rise

It is really difficult to tell you an exact time. It should take about 3 hours or so because your rolls are already thawed to assemble the recipe. It will depend on the warmth of your kitchen and the freshness of the yeast. That’s why it is important to check the “best by” date on the front of the package. The father out that date is, the fresher the yeast will be and it will rise faster. Let it rise even with the top of the bundt pan. Hope that helps! I wouldn’t. I think it would be too soggy with the apples. Assemble it and then leave it in the refrigerator overnight and then bake the next morning or before you want to serve it.

I think you could do that! I would probably make it two layers with 6 Cinnamon Rolls and half the other mixture on the bottom and then repeat the layers. And just bake as it directs.

Can u skip the apple pie filling and use just all fresh apples?

I probably would not use all fresh apples. I think that you would need the apple pie filling to give it the moisture with the oats in it. So I would probably do as the recipe directs.

Does this need to be refrigerated after making?

I think it would be fine to leave it out, covered, for a few days. But there are no preservatives in our product so after that time, you might want to put it in the refrigerator.
