The flavor of poutine, a Canadian comfort food, wrapped up in a Rhodes roll.

Ingredients

6 Rhodes White Dinner Rolls, dough thawed but still cold
1 1/4 cup leftover mashed potatoes
1 Tbsp garlic salt
18 cheese curds
1/4 cup grated parmesan
Gravy, for dipping
Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

Mix garlic salt into mashed potatoes. Cut each roll into 3 pieces. To assemble each poutine bomb, roll out 1 roll third into a 3 inch circle. Place one tablespoon of garlic mashed potatoes in the center of the dough, then top with a cheese curd. Carefully pinch the dough up and around the filling. Place on a sprayed baking sheet cut side down. When finished assembling poutine bombs, brush each with melted butter. Combine parmesan with remaining garlic salt and sprinkle over the bombs. Cut a small vent in each. Bake at 350ºF for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with fresh parsley and gravy.
