Difficulty: Beginning

The fun fall flavors of Apple Crisp baked on a pizza crust, yummy!

Ingredients

9 Rhodes Yeast Dinner Rolls or 6 Rhodes Texas Rolls, dough thawed to room temperature
2/3 cup sugar
3 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
4 medium size apples, peeled cored and diced

Topping:
1/2 cup flour
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup butter, softened
caramel topping
ice cream, if desired

Instructions

Spray counter lightly with non-stick cooking spray. Combine rolls and roll into a 12 inch circle. Place on a 12 inch pizza pan and press toward the outside to give the dough a slight edge all the way around.

Combine sugar, flour and cinnamon well. Add apples and stir until they are well coated. Spread the apple mixture evenly over the dough. Make the topping by combining the flour, brown sugar, oats, cinnamon and butter. Sprinkle over the apple mixture.

Bake at 350 degrees F 35-40 minutes. Cover with foil after 20 minutes to prevent over browning of the crust. Remove from oven and drizzle with caramel topping. Serve warm with ice cream if desired.

Roll dough out into a 13-inch circle.
Combine sugar, flour and cinnamon well. Add apples and stir until they are well coated.

Yes, we do still make the Orange Rolls. I don’t know where you live but you can use our product locator to find the stores in your area that are carrying them. We also have a recipe for “Orange Knots” on our website that are made from the Dinner Rolls. This is a great recipe if you can’t find a store in your area carrying them.
