How long does it take for the rolls to double in size?

That is a difficult question to pinpoint. The raising time depends upon the warmth of your kitchen and the “best by” date that is on the top let corner of your package. The warmer your kitchen, the faster they will raise. And the farther out the “best by” date is the fresher the yeast is and will rise faster. Approximately after they are are thawed about 45 minutes to an hour. Just be sure to watch and not let them over rise.

It is a shame that the stores around you are not carrying the items you would like them to. We would love every store to carry all the products that we make but that is totally up to the stores what they will carry. Talk to the frozen food manager in your store and see if they would be willing to order them in for you.

Can you use Instapot to help the rise

Thanks for your question. I’m not sure if you are questioning using the Instapot for this recipe or just in general. I think it would be too hot for the rolls to raise in the Instapot and that would damage the yeast and then the rolls would not rise at all. I just don’t think that is a good idea to use an Instapot. It also isn’t large enough and it would be a lot of trouble transferring them to the oven.
I would just use the methods for rising on the package or follow the recipe as it is written. Hope this helps you!

We still produce the Wheat Rolls but unfortunately there are not many stores that order them. Talk to your store’s frozen food manager and see if they can order some in for you. And ask them if they will start ordering them in again.
