Cinnamon Roll Butterflies

These butterflies are adorable for spring and summer and your kids will love them!

Ingredients

12 Rhodes Traditional Cinnamon Rolls
cream cheese frosting, included with rolls
Licorice of your choice
Pretzels, broken into pieces for the antenna’s

Instructions

  1. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick spray.
  2. Unwrap each cinnamon roll halfway, and reroll it back in the opposite direction. Each cinnamon roll is one half of a butterfly.
  3. Place two cinnamon roll wings back to back on the baking sheet.
  4. Let rise for 30 minutes.
  5. Bake at 350ºF for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool for 5-10 minutes on a cooling rack.
  6. Glaze the butterflies with the included frosting using a pastry brush.
  7. Add the licorice for the body of the butterflies and broken pretzel pieces for the antennas!
