Garlic Cheese Bubble Up

Prep Time: 10 min.
Bake Time: 25 min.
Servings: 8
Difficulty: Beginning

Buttery, cheesy pull-apart that is so so easy to make for a party or just for dinner.

Ingredients

12 Rhodes White Dinner Rolls, dough thawed to room temperature
2 Tbs butter, melted
1 cup mozzarella, shredded
1 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

Air Fryer Instructions

  1. Line the basket of your air fryer with aluminum foil. Spray the foil with nonstick spray. (We used a 6-quart air-fryer.)
  2. Cut each roll into four pieces and place in the bottom of the basket.
  3. Drizzle with the butter. Sprinkle with garlic salt and Italian seasoning. Then cover with cheese.
  4. Cover the basket with plastic wrap and let it rise until double in size.
  5. Cover with foil. Bake in your air fryer at 325ºF for 15-20 minutes, checking often. Then remove foil for the last few minutes until golden brown.

Oven Instructions

  1. Spray a 9×9-inch pan or 9-inch cake pan with nonstick spray.
  2. Cut each roll into four pieces and place in the bottom of the pan.
  3. Drizzle with the butter. Sprinkle with garlic salt and Italian seasoning. Then cover with cheese.
  4. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise until double in size.
  5. Remove plastic wrap and bake at 350ºF for 18-25 minutes; cover after 15 minutes to prevent over-browning.

We appreciate you taking the time to let us know. There is not need to let it rise in the air fryer version. But we hve added a rise time of 20 minutes in the oven version. Hope you enjoy this recipe!

Thanks for your question! We just use the Italian seasoning from McCormick in the spice section of your grocery store.
