Pizza and Breadstick Jellyfish

Prep Time: 15 min.
Bake Time: 20-30 minutes
Servings: 4
Difficulty: Beginner

This jellyfish doesn’t sting, but with both pizza and breadsticks it will swim its way to be a family favorite dinner.

Ingredients

12 Rhodes White Dinner Rolls, dough thawed to room temperature
3 Tbsp marinara sauce
3/4 cup mozzarella
1/3 cup grated parmesan
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 Tbsp garlic salt
sliced olives

Instructions

Combine 6 rolls and roll out on a sprayed surface to a 10×7 inch semi circle. The flat side should be 10 inches and the arch should be 7 inches. Place on a sprayed baking sheet to make the head of the jellyfish.

Combine parmesan and garlic salt in a shallow bowl. Roll out 1 roll into an 8 inch rope. Dip the rope in butter and then in parmesan mixture. Repeat with remaining rolls and arrange on the flat bottom of the jellyfish face to create the tentacles. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise for 30 minutes.

Remove sprayed plastic wrap and top the face of the pizza with marinara and then mozzarella. Place two pieces of sliced olives on the face to make the eyes, then cut one olive slice in half and place it to be the mouth. Bake at 350ºF for 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven and serve warm.

Came out very cute. Was Way too salty. I’d use 1tsp garlic salt or use garlic powder.

So glad you gave this a try! The amount of garlic salt is a easy thing to change so feel free to modify in that way! Thanks for sharing!
