Ingredients
6 Rhodes Dinner Rolls, dough thawed to room temperature
1 lb ground beef
1 Tbsp onion powder
1/2 Tbsp garlic powder
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
6 slices American cheese
shredded iceberg lettuce
dill pickle chips
slice tomatoes
Sauce Recipe
1/2 Cup mayonnaise
3 Tbsp Ketchup
2 Tbsp sweet relish
1 tsp paprika
- In a large bowl, place ground beef, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix the spices in with the ground beef and divide the beef into six equal portions. Prepare each portion on parchment paper by pressing them down into very thin 6-inch patties.
- On a surface sprayed with nonstick spray, roll out each roll into a six inch circle. Cover rolls with sprayed plastic wrap tp prevent them from drying out.
- Heat a large skillet pan, or a flat top grill, to medium heat.
- Spray the pan or grill with nonstick spray, and place one flatted roll on the heated surface. Cook one side for 3 minutes, or until lightly browned, and flip to the other side. Place one beef patty on top of the wrap while the other side of the wrap cooks for another 3 minutes. Flip the wrap with the patty over so the patty is now on the heated surface. Press the wrap down firmly so in caramelizes nicely and let the burger cook for 3-5 minutes, until cooked through and well browned. Flip the wrap once more so the patty is now on top. Add the cheese and once it’s slightly melted, use a spatula to fold it in half. Set aside while you finish the remaining burgers.
- Mix all the sauce ingredients while cooking the burger wraps.
- Serve warm and add favorite toppings.
Baking Notes
- You can use any cheese or toppings you desire!
- This also works with ground turkey!
