Ingredients
6 Rhodes White Dinner Rolls, dough thawed to room temperature Oil, for frying
Jelly, for dipping
Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions
1. Heat 3 inches of oil in a frying pan/pot to 350ºF or to medium-high heat. While oil is heating, prepare the dough.
2. Combine two rolls into one ball and roll out on a sprayed surface to an 8×8 inch square. Cut 1/4 inch strips out of the dough using a knife to create “fries”.
3. Repeat step 2 with remaining dough.
4. Place dough fries in oil separately, and fry on each side anywhere from 30 seconds to one minute or until both sides of the fries are golden brown. Remove from oil and let drain on a plate lined with paper towels.
5. Dust with powdered sugar and dip in jelly to serve.

Thanks for the love!

We love bread pudding in the winter and we have lots of apples, so I’m going to try your bread pudding with sugar covered chopped apples with a sizzle of caramel.

Sounds delightful!

Can you bake them on the oven
Debbie from Rhodes
Thanks for your question! You could bake them but the texture and taste would be different. There are “doughnut pans” that can be used to bake them in. Certainly try baking the rolls and see if you enjoy how they turn out.

Sounds yummy! Betting my grandkids will LOVE these. I’m going to try using a light dusting of cinnamon and sugar also.

Could you give me direction to cook these in air fryer ? Thanks
Debbie from Rhodes
Thanks for your question! We have tried a few different recipes with our product in the air fryer, but we don’t care for the outcome. We tried these Fried Dough Fries and they turned out too crunchy and not so good! So we would probably not recommend using an air fryer with our products. Sorry!
