Prep Time: 30 min.
Bake Time: 35 min.
Servings: 8-12
Difficulty: Beginning

A fun recipe for your next party or family gathering.

Ingredients

2 Loaf Rhodes Bread Dough or 24 Rhodes Dinner Rolls, dough thawed but still cold
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon garlic salt
slices of your favorite cheese
cooked bacon
green onion, diced
dipping sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine rolls or loaves into a 20-22-inch rope. Form into a circle and place in the bottom of a sprayed bundt pan. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise until double in size.
  2. Remove wrap and bake at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned.
  3. Combine butter and garlic salt and brush over the top of the cooled bread.
  4. Then make cuts lengthwise and widthwise, about 1-inch apart, without cutting through the bottom crust.
  5. Place on a sprayed baking sheet. Insert cheese slices & bacon pieces between the cuts. Sprinkle with diced green onions.
  6. Return to oven and bake an additional 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve with your favorite dip in the middle.

I have used your frozen bread loads for a long while.
Problem is, Walmart carries your rolls, but have stopped selling the bread dough.
Could you tell me what other store, Publics or Winn-Dixie, would sell them??

Walmart has not ordered the Bread Dough in your area and there are no other stores ordering it at this time. You can make a loaf from the Dinner Rolls. 12 Dinner size Rolls equal a loaf of Bread. Thaw the rolls and form into a loaf. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.

I like larger rolls so I unthaw the Rhodes Rolls and work two of them together, then brush with melted butter, let rise and bake them according to package directions until golden brown, take them out of the oven and brush with melted butter again, put a small towel over them while they’re cooling down. Just like home made yeast buns. Love, love, love them. Thank you.

Would be nice if you made frozen burger size buns. Would be great for fresh homemade buns for burgers & sandwiches.

I Use the bread loaf, thaw and cut into 6 equal pieces. Form them into a ball and put them in a greased 9×12 cake pan evenly spaced. Let rise and bake. Beautiful buns and a lot cheaper than deli store buns.
