Wish you would give us an estimate for how long they take to “double in size” so we could better time them to come out for dinner!!!

It depends on how warm your kitchen is. The warmer it is, the faster they rise. About an hour.

DEpends on how warm your kitchen is, on how quickly they will rise. I SOMETIMES put mine in the laundry room with the door shut because its a very warm little room. But it usually takes 4-5 hours.

That question was asked in 2018 and has been answered several times. Gretchen is correct, but there are other situations that contribute to the rising time. Check the “best by” date on the package and use the product well before that date so that you are using the freshest yeast and the rolls will rise faster. Also check the package for ice or product that is stuck together. This shows that the product has been thawed and refrozen which damages the yeast.

Thank you for your question! You can get 12 Dinner Rolls from one loaf of our bread or 8 Texas size rolls from one loaf. Just thaw it and divide it into 8 or 12 individual rolls and work from there. If you need additional help you can call and speak with one of our baking experts at 1-800-876-7333.

I cannot forget peeling apart the flaky, buttery layers of my grandma’s butter flake rolls. 😀

What makes you think nobody will ever know these are fake?

I guess I don’t understand why anyone would think they are “fake”. They are made with all the ingredients in a homemade roll and it’s up to you to determine what you tell your guests.

Is the muffin tin oversized or the typical size?

You can use either size of muffin tin. The larger one fits the rolls better if you have one but the regular one is fine too. Let the rolls double in size and then bake. Hope this helps!

Can you make THESE AHED AND REHEAT FOR tHANKSGIVING OR nOT AS GOOD?

I guess it depends on your time schedule. It is much easier to bake them the day before and reheat them. Cover in foil and place them in a warm oven for 5-7 minutes. But if you want them right from the oven, that is probably the ultimate!
